Yaoundé, September 10, 2021, CFAO Retail Cameroun today launches its websitehttps://www.playce-yaounde.cm dedicated to news from the PlaYce shopping center currently under construction in Cameroon's administrative capital.
Jean-Christophe BRINDEAU, Managing Director of CFAO Retail explains "The opening of the PlaYce shopping center in Yaoundé in early 2022 confirms the continuation of CFAO Retail 's strategy to develop PlaYce shopping centers and the Carrefour and Supeco banners in Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal. PlaYce Yaoundé will offer a privileged consumer experience around the country's first Carrefour hypermarket - the largest to date in the CFAO Retail network - and a restaurant and leisure area."
To share news of this future shopping center with the general public, the media and all economic players, CFAO Retail has opted for a deliberately open communications plan and created the https://playce-yaounde.cm website, which will regularly present :
- A behind-the-scenes look at the PlaYce construction site in Yaoundé; a work with a strong personality that will bring a new note to the Warda district (near the Palais des Sports) where it is located,
- Information on what this new living and leisure space will soon look like.
Equipped with "responsive" technology, the site can be consulted on all media, its interface automatically adapting to the size of the screens used. The https://www.playceyaounde.cm website offers a range of informative content sections:
- In the weeks leading up to the opening, " News " will unveil the names of the various brands that will make up the 50 stores and restaurants,
- The " Shopping center map " shows the position of each retailer in the shopping center, enabling prospective tenants to view the available cells,
- A " Contact " form is dedicated to companies and service providers who would like information on the cells on the market and/or would like to offer their services,
- In addition, the " Recruitment " section enables candidates to submit their applications and become part of a pool that should help meet the human resources needs that the opening of PlaYce will generate. Indeed, CFAO Retail will be creating almost 500 jobs for its own needs alone.
PlaYce Yaoundé, a real place to live and play, will be keen to surprise its customers from the moment it opens, and is preparing a schedule of events in line with the PlaYce concept already tried and tested in Côte d'Ivoire at PlaYce Marcory, which opened in 2015, and PlaYce Palmeraie, which opened in 2017.
Luc DEMEZ, Managing Director of CFAO Retail in Cameroon adds: "The PlaYce shopping center in Yaoundé is a major project for CFAO Retail and a real revolution in terms of retail. Our ambition is to make PlaYce THE place to shop in Yaoundé, and to delight over 4 million visitors a year.
